iOS 14 Issues and Solutions

The iOS 14 update contains many new features and improvements, but there are problems with the new version of the system. Below we will talk about the most common of them, as well as how to solve them.

iOS 14 update does not appear in Settings

If you go to Settings, and then to General> Software Update, and there is no iOS 14 update there, check the list of supported iOS 14 devices.

If your device supports iOS 14, but the update still did not appear in the Settings, you can install it via iTunes manually.

No some new features

Some of the new features that were supposed to appear in iOS 14 have been ported to the iOS 14.1 update, which will be released on September 30. Among them are Team automation, Siri options, new dynamic wallpapers, support for several AirPods, etc. Read more about these features here.

Error downloading iOS 14

Most often, problems when downloading iOS updates arise if you download them on the day of release. Due to the large number of requests, various errors begin to occur.

We recommend that you wait at least a day after the update is released and try downloading it again. You can also read about other ways to solve the iOS 14 download error.

Applications fly out

Sometimes after updating some applications may crash or even not start. In this case, there are two solutions:

Make sure you have the latest available version of the application. To do this, go to the App Store and select the “Updates” tab.
Uninstall the application and reinstall it. To do this, hold down the application icon on the home screen, and then click the cross that appears in the corner of the icon.

Charges quickly

Some users complain that after installing iOS 14 their devices began to discharge faster. The presence of a problem depends on how you use your device, so there is no single solution. You can read an article on how to solve charging problems in iOS 14.
